- We're looking for sponsors for the 2010 Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5k and Shut In Ridge Trail Run...we had over 1100 participants for this healthy family holiday event last year and of course the Shut In Ridge filled up again! The 33rd running of the Green Valley Road, Greenville, SC, will be held on February 20, 2010 beginning on Furman’s campus. The 8K will begin at 8:30 am while the 10-mile run begins at 8:45 am. All races provide awards 5 deep in 5-year increments. All races begin at the Paladin stadium.
The giveaways this year consist of a tote bag, beanie, and gloves for pre-registered runners.
Pre-registration rates, postmarked by January 30, is $20, and after that date, is $25—for either race, but runners need to, of course, identify which race they are running.
